 Batter Fried Fish

Ingredients: (For Fish)

  • ½ kilogram of Fish (cut into 3 inch pieces)
  • ½ tsp. Salt
  • ½ tsp. Black Pepper (Pisi Kaali Mirch) (Freshly ground)
  • ½ tsp. of Ajinomoto (Chinese Salt)

Ingredients: (For Batter)

  • 1 cup of All-Purpose Flour (Maida)
  • 2 tbsp. of Corn Flour (Makai Ka Aata)
  • ½ tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1 Egg (beaten)
  • A pinch of Salt
  • 6 cups of Cooking Oil (for deep frying)


  • Bring a large pot of salted water to boil, and add pasta shells; boil until soft and done. Drain well.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, crab, shrimp, onion, celery, mayonnaise , sugar, salt, black pepper and lemon juice; mix well.
  • Stuff cream cheese mixture into the jumbo pasta shells. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
