White split gram 2 cups
Garlic paste 1tbsp 
Cumin powder ½ tsp
Baking soda 1/3 tsp 
Oil For frying
Salt as per taste

For Masala:

Whole red chili 5-6 
Whole black pepper 1 tsp 
Whole cumin seeds 1 tbsp
Black salt ½ tsp
Salt as per taste 

Green Chatni:

Tamarind pulp ½ cup
Mint leaves 1 bunch 
Green chili 5-6 
Salt as per taste

For Garnishing:

Yogurt ½ kg 
Chick peas 1 cup
Chaat masala 1 tsp
Ketchup As required
Papri As required

Cabbage Slice Half

Take white split gram add 1/3 tsp of baking powder and soak for the whole night ,take a grinder, grind them , add 1 tsp of garlic paste 1/2tsp of cumin powder, and as required salt mix it well to make thick paste with wet palms add small portions of batter in hot oil .deep fry the baray’s till golden brown 
For making Dahi Bara Masala 
Take 5-6 whole red chillies,1tsp of of whole black pepper, ½ of black salt, a pinch of salt, add to grinder and grind all the mixture .Now masala is ready
For green chatni: in a blender ½ tsp of tamarind pulp, 1 bunch of mint leaves , 5-6 green chilies and a pinch of salt and blend all the ingredients green chaatni is ready.
Garnishing: take a deep bowl beat the yogurt . Add baray and boiled chick peas pour the rest of the yogurt on top .Drizzle the ketchup and green chatni as required papri ½ cabbage. Sprinkle the dahi bara masala and sprinkle 1tsp of chaat masala . now chana bara is ready. Serve it.
