Rice ½ kg
Chicken 700 gm
Food color 1 pinch
Brown onion 2
Potato 2 to 3
Bay leaves 2 to 3
Green chilies 2 to 3
Green coriander ½ bunch
Ginger 1 inch
Yogurt 1 cup
Tamarind paste ½ cup
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Cumin 1 tsp
Chat masala 1 tsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Nutmeg mace powder ½ tsp
Red chili powder 2 tbsp
Oil 3 tbsp
Whole spice as required
Salt to taste

First take rice and wash it and soak in water for 1 to 2 hours. Then in water add 2 to 3 bay leaves, 1 tsp cumin and salt to taste to boil. When water starts to boil, add rice and half boil them and drain all the water. For qroma, in 2 to 3 potatoes add 1 pinch food color, water and salt to taste to hard boil. In a blender add 1 inch ginger, 2 tbsp garlic chopped, ½ bunch green coriander chopped and 2 to 3 green chilies with as required water to blend. Then in a pan heat 3 tbsp oil and crackle all spice. Then add 2 onions to fry and pour green paste to suate. Then add 700 gm chicken to cook. Now add 2 tbsp red chili powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp turmeric powder and ½ tsp nutmeg mace powder and cook well. When chicken tender add tamarind paste to mix and pour lemon juice to dish it out. Now place the layer of gravy in pan then place a layer of rice then again place rice top with brown rice, green coriander and ½ cup mint with potato and food color to simmer. Then dish out and garnish it with chat masala and serve.
