Ingredients
Chicken 1 kg 16 pieces
Lockey 250 gm peeled and cubed
Daal mong ¼ cup
Daal chana ¼ cup
Daal arhar ¼ cup
Daal masoor ¼ cup
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Salt 1 tbsp
Chili powder 1 tbsp
Tamarind pulp ½ cup
Turmeric ½ tsp
All spice ½ tsp
Green chilies 4 whole
Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
Tomatoes 2 chopped
Curry leaves 15 to 20
Onion 1 chopped

Ingredients for daalcha masala
Whole red pepper 12
Whole coriander seeds 2 tbsp
White cumin seeds 1 tbsp
Oil 2 tbsp

Method for masala
Heat 2 tbsp oil roast coriander seeds, cumin seeds and whole red pepper each separately, remove and grind coarsely, keep aside. Soak and boiled together all the lentils with ½ tsp turmeric till tender, coarsely mash the lentils, heat ½ cup oil add 1 chopped onion fry till light golden add curry leaves 15 to 20, ginger garlic paste, salt, chili powder, fry well add 2 chopperize tomatoes, fry well add chicken cover and cook till chicken ½ done, add lockey with 1 cup water cook till nearly done, add boiled and mash mixture of lentils with tamarind pulp and daalcha masala, all spice, cook till boiling, lastly add green chilies and coriander leaves, leave it on dum serve with baghary rice and kachomber.
