French Toast with Blue Berries by Chef Shireen Anwar

Eggs 2
Bread slices 8
Milk ½ cup
Vanilla essence ½ tsp
Fine sugar 3 tbsp
Blueberry pie filling 4 tbsp
Honey to serve
Oil for frying


Beat the 2 eggs in a bowl, add 3 tbsp sugar, ½ tsp vanilla essence and ½ cup milk, spread 1 bread slice with 4 tbsp blueberry pie filling, top with second slice, dip in egg, milk and sugar mixture, shallow fry in oil on both sides till light golden, remove drizzle with honey on top and serve.
