Baking Soda
A good way to whiten skin is by exfoliating with baking soda. Pour a cup of baking soda into a bowl and add enough water to make a paste. Rub the mixture on the skin areas that you wish to lighten. You can do so in the bathtub if you wish to whiten large areas of skin or all over the body. Rinse the paste off after scrubbing for 1 minute.

Baking soda skin whitening remedy can be repeated several times a day until skin has a lighter appearance.

This remedy exfoliates and cleanses skin, as well as help bleach.

Lemon Juice
Squeeze half of a lemon into a bowl and dip a cotton ball into it. Dab the cotton ball on your skin and rinse off after 5 minutes.

You can also make a mask by mixing a half of a juiced lemon with 1 tbsp. of honey. Apply the mask on your face and allow it to dry. Rinse it off with warm water.

Lemon juice can be used as a skin whitener and an astringent, but it can be irritating to sensitive skin. Adding honey helps bleach skin while minimizing irritation.

White Vinegar
Dilute equal parts of white vinegar and water to make a skin whitening solution. Apply the mixture to the skin and rinse off after 10 minutes. Repeat several times a day until the skin has lightened.

Mint Leaves
Grind mint leaves and apply the residue to your skin. Leave it on for 20 minutes and rinse. You can use a blender to pulverize the leaves into a smooth-textured skin lightener.
