Cleaning excess oil, dirt, and bacteria makes them appear smaller.
Pores provide your skin with natural oils to moisturize and keep the skin supple and young looking. Large pores are more conspicuous then small pores, and make your skin less attractive. Large pores are caused by age, and are also genetic. Pores become clogged with oil and dirt, and get inflamed, making them appear larger and more prominent. Keep your pores clean for younger looking skin.

Treat Pores With Tomato Juice
Add a calamine or sandalwood powder to tomato juice until it forms a paste. Apply the paste to your skin with a cotton ball for 20 minutes. This shrinks your pores, but only temporarily, so repeat on a regular basis. Makes a facial with equal amounts of tomato juice, lemon juice, and cucumber juice mixed with calamine powder to form a paste. Apply to your face, and let dry. Wash the mask off with warm water. The tomato juice provides toning agents to the open pores.

Clean Pores

After removing the mask, cool your skin with a cold wet cloth.
Mix 1 tbsp. knox unflavored gelatin with 1 1/2 tbsp. milk. Heat the mixture in the microwave for about 10 seconds. Apply on the face with a cosmetic brush or spatula. Do not get it in or near your eyes. Rinse the brush immediately. Allow the mixture to completely dry for about 30 minutes. Peel the dried mask off. It will pull all of the debris from your pores.

Reduce Pore Size With Egg White
Whip an egg white until it is fluffy, and mix with 1/2 tsp. lemon juice. Apply it to your face as a mask to tone the skin and reduce the pore size. Leave on for an hour, then wash off with water.

Quick Fixes For Skin
Wrap an ice cube in a cloth and rub it on your skin to reduce the pore size and temporarily reduce the production of oil. Use this method to avoid the mess of other treatments, or when in a rush. To reduce the oil on your face, wipe with a lemon peel.
