How to Make a Good Hand Scrub

Take care of your hands with a nourishing scrub.
Hands and nails take a beating from dishwashing, cold weather and all-around use. Pamper them with an exfoliating scrub made from nourishing natural ingredients. Used regularly, the scrub will leave your hands feeling soft and smooth.

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need
2 cups uncooked oats
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons sugar
1/3 cup milk or 3 teaspoons milk powder
2 tablespoons honey
Blend the oats in a blender until it becomes a coarse powder.

Add the salt and sugar to the ground oats. Salt is cleansing, while sugar helps to exfoliate.

Add the milk powder, if you plan to save the scrub for later use. Add the milk if you plan to use it immediately.

Immediately before using, add honey to the scrub mix. Spoon some into your hands and rub it in around the nails and backs. The scrub will remove dead skin cells and hidden dirt.

Rinse your hands with plain water, then moisturize
