Potatoes cut into round slices 4
Fresh red chilies sliced 1
Green chilies sliced 1
Onion sliced 2
Whole red chilies 6
Curry leaves 6
Oil ¼ cup
Garlic crushed 1 tsp
Ginger chopped 1 tsp
White cumin seeds ½ tsp
Onion seeds ¼ tsp
Mustard seeds ¼ tsp
Fenugreek seeds ¼ tsp
Fennel seeds ¼ tsp


Heat ¼ cup oil in a wok, add all the seeds, 6 curry leaves, 6 whole red chilies, 1 tsp chopped ginger and garlic each, fry for 1 minute, add 2 sliced onion, fry for 5 minutes, now add 4 sliced potato, 1 green and red chilies and 1 cup water, cover and cook for 15 minutes till potato are tender, serve garnish with coriander leaves.
