 Khajoor ka Halwa by Chef Shireen Anwar

Ingredients

Wheat flour 200 gm
Seedless soft dates 200 gm chopparize
Ghee ¾ cup
Rose water ½ cup
Sugar ½ cup
Cardamom powder 1 tsp
Hot milk 1 tbsp
Saffron ½ tsp

Method

Dry roast the 200gm wheat flour in a large pan on low flame, stirring continuously until light golden, gradually add ¾ cup ghee and mix properly with flour, add ½ cup rose water and 200gm seedless dates, also add ½ cup sugar, mix well, add 1 tsp ground green cardamom, ½ tsp saffron and milk mixture, cook for 5 minutes, remove in a serving platter, serve hot.
