 Nutri Halwa


1. 1 cup carrots (grated)
2. 1/2 cup white pumpkin (grated)
3. 1/4 cup crushed cashews
4. 1/4 cup crushed almonds
5. 1/2 cup coconut (grated)
6. 1 slice cheese
7. 2 cups whole milk
8. 1 cup sugar
9. 1/2 cup ghee
10. Pinch of saffron


1. Cashews and Raisins

Nutri Halwa Preparation:

1. Fry cashews and almonds in ghee until light brown.
2. Add coconut, carrots, white pumpkin and stir for at least 20 minutes.
3. Boil milk in a separate vessel until it thickens.
4. Add cheese to the milk and stir until it blends well
5. Add the milk mixture to the vegetable mixture with sugar and saffron. Stir well for atleast 10 minutes.
6. Tranfer the thick mixture to a greased pan and your tasty nutri halwa is ready.

Garnish sweet dish with cashews and almonds before serving.
