 Peanut Prawn Malaysian Style By Chef Zakir

Ingredients
Prawns 300 gm
Peanut 100 gm
Almond 25 gm
Egg 1
Lemon rind 1
Coriander leaves 1 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Black pepper ¼ tsp
White pepper ¼ tsp
Coriander powder ½ tsp
Turmeric ½ tsp
Corn flour 3 tbsp
Rice ka Aata 5 tbsp
Water as required
Oil for fry
Salt to taste

Method
• Soak 25 gm almond in lukewarm water for few minutes and remove skin, now grind together almond and 100 gm peanut.
• Wash 300 gm prawns and keep aside.
• In a bowl mix together 5 tbsp rice ka Aata, 3 tbsp corn flour and 1 egg. Mix well. Also add ¼ tsp black pepper, ¼ tsp white pepper, salt to taste, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, ½ tsp turmeric and ½ tsp coriander powder. Make into thick batter with a little water and keep aside.
• Now marinate prawns in this batter. Also add in ground peanut almond paste and lemon rind.
• Now deep fry till golden brown and crisp. Remove from oil, put in a serving platter on top of chopped vegetables or fried noodles. Serve with sauce.
