 Treatments for Dry Hair Ends

Damaged HairHair Dandruff
There are a number of ways to treat those dry, damaged hair ends.

Air Dry
Instead of using a blow dryer, let your hair dry naturally to retain the natural oils that are sometimes removed by blow drying.

Hot Oil
Apply an over-the-counter hot oil treatment to repair damaged ends. Apply the treatment and then wear a shower cap while the hot oil is on your hair. Rinse the treatment after five to 20 minutes.

Safflower Oil
You can find safflower oil at the supermarket. Rub a couple of drops on the ends of your hair. Do not rinse this out; the oil will nourish your dry hair, leaving it healthy and shiny.

Olive Oil
Warm up 1/2 cup of olive oil and massage it through your hair. Then wrap your hair in plastic and then a warm towel. Leave in for 30 minutes and then wash it out, using a shampoo formulatd for dry hair.

Body Lotion
When applying body lotion, take a little bit in your hands and massage it through your hair. Use only a pea-sized amount on your hair, as too much will cause excessive greasiness.
