Milk 2 cups + 1 cup
Sugar 2 cups
Almonds ground 1 cup
Eggs 10 beaten
Butter 7 ounces
Milk powder 6 tbsp heaped
Saffron 1 tsp
Hot milk ¼ cup
Yellow color pinch
Sliced almonds 2 tbsp
1. Heat 2 cups milk with sugar cook till the sugar dissolves, remove and cool.
2. Blend the remaining 1 cup milk with ground almonds to form a paste
3. Now add the beaten eggs, milk, butter, milk powder, saffron mixture, yellow food color and pour mixture into a oven proof tray.
4. Sprinkle with almonds, bake in a pre heated oven 140 degree C for 40 minutes, till top golden, serve hot or cold.
